Board of Directors
The direction of the Consortium is held by the Board of Directors, consisting of the President and 11 member tanners. It has the main purpose to carry out the bureaucratic formalities requested by the Consortium's statute.
For the period 2011-2012, these are the members in charge: Antonio Battaglia, Stefano Casella, Gabriele Colonnata, Andrea Ghizzani, Stefano Pinori, Eric Poles, Paolo Quagli, Cherubino Quirici, Martina Squarcini, Paolo Testi.
For what concerns the operative plan, all the promotional activities of the Genuine Italian Vegetable-Tanned Leather Consortium are managed by different Committees made of representatives of the member tanneries.
Communication Committee
It yearly studies and arranges the consortium's communication plan and coordinates the different committees to achieve the final goal: make culture on "vegetable-tanned leather".
Foreign Events/Italian Events Committee
It follows the organization of meetings, exhibitions, workshops that the Consortium presents both in Italy and abroad (Tokyo, New York, Paris, London ...) for manufacturers, stylists and retailers of leather products.
Technical Committee
It draws up, updates and controls the Consortium's internal regulations, the licensing contracts for the use of the trademark, the technical production sheets. It is also in charge for certifications, control systems, product traceability.
