HAND MADE IN ITALY: this is the name of the consortium's international events for the season 2009.

The first exhibit featuring photos by Oliviero Toscani is taking place from February 23rd. to 28th., in New YorK City. Big size photos of luxury products made of vegetable-tanned leather by renowned Italian brand names and skilled artisans, portraits of the master tanners and their artisan work, a video performance dedicated to this timeless and unique leather will be the focus of a multi-media show conceived by Oliviero Toscani and La Sterpaia, Workshop of the Art of Communication.

It will be a travelling art exhibit aiming to promote throughout the world the Italian excellence. During the year 2009 the exhibition will move to Tokyo and Seoul.
