HAND MADE IN ITALY

A performance featuring photos by Oliviero Toscani and commissioned by the Genuine Italian Vegetable-Tanned Leather Consortium with the aim to promote the antique Tuscan technique of vegetable tanning.

Big-size photos of luxury products made of vegetable-tanned leather by famous Italian brand companies and skilled artisans, giant leather accessories hand-made by italian craftsmen, a video performance dedicated to this timeless and unique leather will be the focus of a multi-media exhibit conceived by Oliviero Toscani and La Sterpaia, Workshop of the Art of Communication.

After New York and Tokyo, where the Hand Made in Italy exhibit has been acclaimed in the past months, this event will be presented in South Korean Seoul in January 2010.
